This process collects facial images captured by your device’s front camera strictly to perform a liveness check—verifying that an account is operated by a real human being—and to detect scam activity. Face Data is never used to identify individual users, build biometric profiles, conduct advertising, market products, or track users across third-party apps or websites.
Third-Party Sharing & Storage: Facial data is securely transmitted to AWS cloud servers where it is encrypted in transit and at rest. AWS acts strictly as a cloud processor under strict confidentiality terms. Face Data is never shared with, transferred to, or sold to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
Retention & Deletion: Face Data is retained strictly for as long as it is necessary to detect and prevent scam activity and protect community safety. Once Face Data is no longer needed for scam prevention, all images and facial feature vectors are permanently deleted from our servers and storage systems.
